NU Techspace Hosted Egypt blockchain day - Here's what happened

Nile University hosted Egypt Blockchain Day that was organized by NU Techspace on the 20th of January. The event was divided into 10 sessions, where multiple figures from companies, firms, incubators, and accelerators discussed the potential of blockchain technologies and how it has the potential to revolutionize business and marketing game plans.

At the first half of the session the founder of Novelari, Dr. Sameh El-Ansary gave a brief history of the significance and technicalities of Peer-to-Peer technologies, which was the hottest thing before the introduction of blockchain. Several other distinguished figures talked about how blockchain can develop the use of artificial intelligence, as well as its effects on smart cities. The talk was followed by a heated panel discussion on both the major benefits and setbacks of the decentralisation of companies and firms and what that can mean for their relationships with clients with the use of blockchain.  After that several figures spoke about the potential of blockchain in the use of AI, and its impact on smart cities. Another panel talked about blockchain development frameworks and it’s best practices.

Mr. Ibrahim Mahgoub, a Venture Capital Fellow, made an announcement of the Innovation Fund Program where UNICEF is willing to fund between $50 thousand and $90 thousand to blockchain startups. Egypt Blockchain Day was a fruitful event full of information about the business of blockchain technology and its future.
