TIEC Starts the Year With 9 New Incubated Startups

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) welcomes 9 new startups in the 25th round of its one-year incubation program, making the incubated startups the first batch at TIEC for the upcoming decade. 

1. Hadotopia

A website that teaches children aging 2-10 years academic and behavioral concepts through unique story-telling techniques and interactive games. 

2. Zoorest

A mobile app that facilitates multiple services for pet-owners in Egypt such as browsing vets, kennels, grooming services, pet food, accessories and toys.

3. Bznsboost

A hardware device and online portal that allows users such as hypermarkets to monitor temperature changes (i.g. fridges). The monitoring is live and gets updated in real-time. The clients receive alarms whenever an incident happens and are able to maintain a history of all the data for future reference and analysis.

That entire process is done using a simple plug-and-play device that doesn’t require a technician for installation. The device is currently used in several hypermarkets. 

4. Learn Khana

An Arabic e-learning platform that provides Egyptian youth with quality courses by expert instructors  at an affordable price. 

5. The Baby Garage

A website and mobile app that connects buyers and sellers specialized in children’s products or services. The platform facilitates parents’ shopping experience and allows them to trade pre-owned children’s products.

6. Pyramid Bits

A platform that provides an integrated AI software that gives help desk and IT Support for startups & SMEs. The software creates monitoring dashboards and has an on the spot ticketing system.

7. Neqabty

A mobile app with various payment solutions, specifically designed for syndicates to facilitate services. The app is designed to serve various categories of syndicate members. Users can choose a QR code as an alternative to traditional debit and credit cards with syndicate service providers. 

8. Hn7laha (Assuit)

A web-based learning management system (LMS) where teachers can create assignments, assessments, and discussions for students. Through the platform, students can access teachers’ feedback, audio and video classes, and assess their progress. It is one of the two startups that will be incubated at TIEC Assuit’s branch.

9. Easy Booking

Also based in Assuit, it’s a mobile app that connects users with co-working spaces and offices. The platform helps users find the most convenient place to work or study. It allows them to compare prices, browse the place’s pictures, book and pay online. 

The 26th Start IT incubation round is now open for startups to apply. The incubation package includes benefits such as a 180k EGP equity-free fund, consistent mentorship sessions covering different topics, office space and one-to-one consultancy during the one-year incubation period.
