EgyptInnovate will periodically post a list of opportunities that we received from The European Business Network (EBN). In this weekly article, we will present a range of opportunities, programs, and competitions that can help Egyptian startups to grow, open new markets and go global.

EBN is a network of around 140 quality-certified EU|BICs (business and innovation centers, incubators, accelerators, and other support organizations) and approximately 100 Associate Members that support the development and growth of innovative entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs.

1. Webinar: Essential Tips on Managing Cash Flow as a start-up:

2. Repsol Foundation Accelerator 2020;9th Call Entrepreneurs Fund:
If your startup has passed the pre-commercial phase and already has recurring customers? Connect with Repsol's Corporate Venturing team. This program is aligned with Repsol and the Foundation's commitment towards energy transition. Find out more in this video.

  • Each team could get up to 120 K Euros fund with a second-year extension possibility with the same funds.
  • There is 0% equity for funding eight start-ups per year & non-repayable grants.
  • Markets of applicants including; Automotive, energy, Energy& Cleantech, transportation, Automobile, Oil & Gas, and Electric Vehicles.
  • Receive multidisciplinary mentoring from a team of two senior mentors, in addition, two other three mentors.
  • Possibility of pilot trials with Repsol.
  • You do not need to move from your current location.

3. EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), from 22 to 26 June 2020:
At the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), running from 22 to 26 June 2020, sustainable energy enthusiasts from all over Europe will come together to share good practices, promote energy innovation, and network. If you have an innovative idea or your organization is doing outstanding work that you are eager to share with the EUSEW community.

You can apply to participate in any of the Networking Village activities. You have until 6 March 2020.

  • Host a stand at the Energy Fair: Engage, entertain and inform the audience by organizing a quiz, contest, debate during this half-day activity, APPLY NOW.
  • Share your unique insights and innovative ideas.
  • Give a speech on a sustainable energy topic of your choice at the Energy TalksAPPLY NOW.
