Valu and RoboGarden Egypt Launch Flexible Financing for Digital Upskilling Program

1 week 1 day ago

Valu has partnered with AI-powered EdTech platform RoboGarden Egypt to provide flexible payment solutions for the “Learn to Earn” digital training initiative. The program is designed to equip Egyptian youth, particularly women and individuals with disabilities, with in-demand tech skills through a hybrid learning approach.

The “Learn to Earn” initiative offers practical training in areas such as web development, tailored to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. Participants receive certificates upon completing 75% of the coursework, with their progress monitored through a combination of assessments, attendance, and analytics. The blended learning model includes self-paced modules, live virtual classes, and hands-on in-person workshops. In total, five training cohorts will be launched, each consisting of 25 participants, reaching a total of 125 learners.

Valu CEO Walid Hassouna stated, “As we move beyond the traditional buy-now-pay-later model, initiatives like ‘Learn to Earn’ reflect our commitment to leveraging financial solutions for long-term social impact.”

RoboGarden Egypt’s CEO and Co-founder, Engy El Sabban, emphasized the initiative’s inclusive focus: “Our goal is to reach underserved youth, women, and people with disabilities, and empower them with the tools for flexible, remote employment.”

The program also addresses a pressing national challenge: nearly 60% of Egyptian university graduates face difficulty finding employment immediately after graduation, largely due to a mismatch between academic education and labor market requirements. The partnership aims to close this gap by emphasizing vocational and digital skill development—particularly vital in an increasingly tech-driven global economy.
