GITEX Vietnam marks the first-ever edition of the GITEX flagship series in Southeast Asia, launching in Hanoi as a key event in National Innovation Week. It represents a strategic effort to spotlight Vietnam’s rising tech ecosystem, innovation policies, and global collaboration intent. 

Key Highlights

• National Digital Acceleration: Reinforces Vietnam’s goal to transform into a top regional hub for IT infrastructure, AI, cybersecurity, and green data centers by 2030. 
• Regional Ecosystem Showcase: A platform for startups, corporates, academia, and government to form partnerships, pitch for funding, and showcase innovation. 
• Global Innovation Bridge: Builds on GITEX’s established presence across continents—including the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia—now adding Southeast Asia.

• Mega-Scale Exposure: Vietnam ranks #2 globally in smartphone exports and #5 in computers; its semiconductor industry surpassed $18B in 2024.
