Sherwat has trained and advised numerous entrepreneurs and SMEs in the areas of operations management, technology management, supply chain management, competitive strategy under programs sponsored by the Industry Modernization Center and Women Entrepreneurship & Leadership (WEL). Sherwat was a faculty member at the American University in Cairo. She received her executive education from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and UNEP/Wuppertal Institute, Germany.
