1.  AUC Venture Lab Opens Applications For Their 7th Acceleration Cycle

AUC Venture Lab (V-Lab) is AUC’s startup accelerator/incubator, based at AUC’s New Cairo campus. It aims to commercialize technologies and innovations developed by Egypt-based startups into commercially viable ventures.

By applying you may get the chance to enhance your startup and take it to the next level throughout different services such as business training, mentoring, networking event, investment opportunities, access to AUC Faculty, access to AUC facilities and 20,000 EGP seed capital award with 0% equity taken.

2. EMUNI Innovation and Entrepreneurship Diploma

EMUNI,Slovenia  partnered up with different universities and institutions around the world such as Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, and Italy.

Throughout the program, students will be exposed to the practical application of business and entrepreneurship theories in entrepreneurial planning, governance, management, marketing, finance, and the online experience involved with running a business.

3. Call For Expression of Interest - Innovation Clusters Initiative 

ITIDA and TIEC recently launched their Innovation Clusters Initiative (iCi) fund of up to EGP 40 million per cluster for supporting the creation of innovation clusters in targeted cities in which new technology parks are being currently developed by Silicon Waha. iCi aims at enabling innovation and entrepreneurship through public–private partnership (PPP).

iCi targets MNCs, private and public academia, training centers, entrepreneurship support organizations (incubators, labs, accelerators, co-working spaces), technology-transfer offices, ICT NGOs, and VCs to join forces with ITIDA for establishing a mature ecosystem for Technology Innovators and  Entrepreneurs across Egyptian cities.

4. 1864 Accelerator - Fall 2016 Cycle

The 1864 accelerator is considered the first local fin-tech. focused startup program of its kind in Egypt which aims to transform entrepreneurs' ideas into cost- effective business solutions.

1864 Accelerator are looking for startups who have ideas related to financial services, including payments,digital banking solutions, machine learning, trading data analytic, insurance, cyber security, asset management, data analytic, lending, banking relationships, etc.
